Who works on your appeal

Every appeal has one responsible lawyer, named in the engagement letter. A second lawyer reads every brief before it is filed, because a fresh reader finds the sentence that only makes sense to its author.

We take on fewer appeals than we are asked to. A brief written in the last week before it is due reads like one, and we would rather decline a matter than file that kind of brief.

Ask which of us fits your case

Send a short note with the court, the case number and the date of the judgment. We will say who would handle it, or who else to call.
